GOLF DRIVING MATS These professional quality, durable mats are available in two sizes: 3' x 5' and 4' x 6'. These long wearing mats are crush resistant, non-shedding and are mounted on a foam rubber backing. Each mat comes with a built in rubber tee and an extra tee is provided. You can hit directly off the mat using your irons and you can even stand on the mat with your golf shoes while practicing. The entire mat is a green, astro-turf like surface, not just the hitting area. The surface is also colorfast so that the green will not come off, marking your clubs. Another great feature is that the club head speed does not slow down while driving through the mat. The 4 x 6 driving mat has 2 built-in rubber tees, one on each side, to accommodate both left and right handers without turning the mat. It also allows you to rotate the mat to get extra wear. There is additional room, with the 4 x 6 mat, to place a couple dozen golf balls on the mat and hit them off individually with your irons, without having to get up and down with each ball placed. If you do have an oversized driver, you would be more comfortable with the 4 x 6 mat. As an alternative to the large size, we carry a 1' x 2' mat. This mat is not large enough to stand on, but is made of the same rugged material as the other mats and provides an excellent hitting surface.
